PINKSTON, James A. “Skippy” James A. “Skippy” Pinkston of Port St. Lucie, FL died Tuesday, (October 9, 2007) at St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he resided in Port St. Lucie for 17 years, moving from Windsor Locks. Prior to retirement, he was an aerospace buyer with Hamilton Standard and Pratt & Whitney. He was also the owner of Precision Deburring in Newington, and had worked at Publix in Port St. Lucie as a front end manager. He was an avid cross country runner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Pinkston and Gertrude Pinkston-Morris; and brother, Lawrence Pinkston. Survivors include his beloved wife of 42 years, Sandra M. Pinkston of Port St. Lucie; four sons, Todd Pinkston of West Hartford, James L. Pinkston of Windsor Locks and Titus R. Pinkston and Keith W. Pinkston, both of Port St. Lucie; four daughters, Scherell Smith of Avon, Kim Brown of Clearwater, FL, Pamela Givans of Port St. Lucie and Shelice Pinkston of West Hartford; sister, Cynthia Adajian of Canton; his second father, Walter Morris of Enfield; and 16 grandchildren. |
